What the wreckage probably looks like
The Larydos I was a famous cargo ship that would transport goods to ports all around Tatsu. Its home port was in Centria, where it would stop to reload. Made in the 70s by the Centria Marine Company or CMC, its unique blue and white coloration and the Gyarados painted along its side made it a notable and famous ship; ship passengers were frequently hired to help assist loading and unloading, and tourists were sometimes invited aboard to see how sailors lived and worked on the ship.

It was in 1993 that Larydos I mysteriously sank after leaving Centria's harbor. Now, 20 years later, people attribute its disappearance to a number of conspiracy theories, including a terrorist bombing and an attack by a legendary Pokémon. Wild speculation as to its location is rampant; however, its true location is in a deep crevice at the bottom of the East Tatsu Bay, surrounded by a shroud of darkness that has left it undetected. This shroud may have been created by ghost Pokémon that have now made the ship their home. A number of valuable objects may be still trapped on the ship, not to mention the bones of the crew.
It has since been replaced by the Larydos II, a faster, safer and more modern ship.

The name 'Larydos' is meant to be derived from Lapras and Gyarados.
